IT Support Analyst

Role:
This role reports directly into Group Head of Information Technology. The purpose of the role is to provide I.T. first line support to all staff members and assist in the efficient running of the department and deliver a professional IT induction to new members of staff on joining the Company.
Duties will include:
- Provide IT desktop support to all staff in a timely manner using the company helpdesk system.
- Use of IT systems to manage hardware assets and software licenses.
- Producing reports from IT systems.
- Working with Microsoft Active Directory specifically GPO’s, user & computer management, securities and DHCP/DNS.
- Managing Sophos Central, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Operating system (Windows 10 and newer) plus more.
- Configure and deploy IT assets in line with company policies and configurations.
- Managing and developing the network infrastructure, including fault finding.
- Support staff remotely using VPN and other software tools that are made available.
- Delivering Induction Training to new staff
- Occasional travel to different sites within the MacTaggart Scott group of Companies
