MacTaggart Scott Australia

Supporting the Royal Australian Navy

MacTaggart Scott has proudly supported the Royal Australian Navy since its formation in 1913. For over 100 years MacTaggart Scott has had equipment in service with the Royal Australian Navy.

This proud tradition continues today with key systems of the navy’s Collins Class submarine and Canberra Class LHD being supplied by the Company.

MacTaggart Scott Australia was formed in 2011. Its prime role is to support  Australian operators of MacTaggart Scott equipment.

Initially focussed on support of Collins and Canberra Class vessels, MacTaggart Scott Australia has expanded its capability through development of an Australian supply chain and participation in local research & development projects.

Based in Adelaide, MacTaggart Scott Australia houses the engineering support team, a workshop with a clean-room and  extensive test facilities.  A large warehouse provides storage space for vendor-managed inventory and rotable components.  From the Adelaide base, technicians support MacTaggart Scott equipment throughout Australia and the neighbouring region.
